Advertising & Sponsored Content Policy

Editorial independence is fundamental to Parrhesia News. Commercial content is always labelled and is never produced by the journalists who report on the subject area.

Labels we use

• Advertisement — paid commercial messaging.
• Advertisement Feature / Sponsored Content — long-form content paid for by an advertiser, produced separately from the newsroom.
• Paid Partnership — content produced in collaboration with a partner brand.
• Affiliate Disclosure — articles that may earn us a commission if readers buy a product through a link.

Sponsored articles carry a label at the top of the article and (where relevant) a disclosure explaining the commercial relationship.

What we will not accept

• Advertising that misrepresents the source of the content.
• Advertising on the same page as breaking news of casualties, terrorism, or major tragedy.
• Advertising for products or services that are illegal in the United Kingdom.
• Advertising that targets children inappropriately.
