Parrhesia News
Accessibility
Our commitment to an accessible newsroom on the web.
Parrhesia News is committed to making our journalism accessible to as many readers as possible. We aim to meet the WCAG 2.1 AA standard.
What we do
- Semantic HTML, descriptive page titles and landmarks
- Alternative text on meaningful images
- Keyboard navigation and visible focus styles
- Sufficient contrast in our typography and UI
- Forms with proper labels and error messages
- Respect for the operating-system "reduced motion" setting
Known limitations
We are an actively developed publication. Some article images may temporarily lack alt text while editors complete metadata, and some third-party embeds may not yet meet our standards. We treat these as bugs.
Contact
